Social Impact Report March 2015

In this our second Annual Social Impact Report, covering our first twelve months of operations, I am pleased to be able to share with our investors how we have created and safeguarded 17 full time jobs for ex-offenders with a very troubled past, not one of whom has reoffended.

Our activities are estimated to have saved the public purse over £250 000 in the first year. We have created work for people with a history of gun crime, drug dealing, robbery and violent assault, who are now focussed on building a productive future for themselves free from their criminal past.

We believe this provides good evidence that Midlands Together are more than an ordinary employer. We successfully support individuals into employment and help them to make better choices regarding their futures.

The buildings we refurbish not only create training and employment; they are transformed from empty, sometimes dangerous, sites into elegant homes which now enhance neighbourhoods which we can all be proud of.

We are currently on site with our fourth and largest scheme to date and look forward to the life changing stories to be told over the months ahead.
